Okay, taking a big cleansing breath here...I have a secret to share with you. I am a killer. Yes, you heard me correctly. I'm a killer of houseplants.
In fact, I've come to believe that I shouldn't own any more houseplants. They're gorgeous and lush and green and add so much beauty to a home -- but not when they're in my hands! In my hands, these previously gorgeous delights turn into brown crinkly wastelands.
I'm on the hunt for an easy-care houseplant that even I can't kill. I used to have this stunning ivy plant. It was lovely and lush and growing so beautifully. I was terribly proud, since I'd always killed plants before and I thought this plant and I really had a future together! Perhaps it would be the plant that would thrive and live a long, happy green little life, even if it had the misfortune of being in my home. Things were looking up!
Until the day I overwatered it after I'd forgotten to water it for far too long...and then the poor ivy - my dear green leafy pal - began it's downward spiral. Yep, I'd killed yet another lovely houseplant.
So, I'm on the hunt for a houseplant that is beautiful AND hardy enough to last in my home. Can you help???
